I just think it's crazy that it's taken this long to have rental housing in the game, given that it's the most common living arrangement in the United States.
The original designers of sim city tested realistic American infrastructure and decided against adding it to the game because it was just full of parking lots and made them depressed
Maybe sims 4 devs had the same experience with rent DLC
