i was visiting my gfs dad and his wife once cause they live pretty far away. we'd spend a bunch of the day together(his wife never shuts the fuck up) and then apparently she was mad i just wanted to be in my bedroom and not sit in the living room and watch MSNBC and musicals. hand me the gun plz.
My mom used to guilt me into going over to her house and then would spend the entire time on the couch playing with her iPad with the tv on, but would not tolerate me changing the channel even though it was clear she wasn't actually watching it.
i now feel lucky that my mom likes baseball so that is always on when the season is happening.
