IMO neither have anything on the greatest film ever made: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians
Realtalk, though, To Have and Have Not is a Howard Hawks joint, and that guy probably did more to advance modern cinema than Orson Welles did. My favorite Howard Hawks story is the time he called up Raymon Chandler to ask who the cluprit is in The Big Sleep only foor Chandler to tell him "I don't know."
