Docking would be nigh impossible.
I think they are designed as escape pods and placed there during construction.
The docking is done at the centre ring, so zero g.
The size is probably to small for 1g on the outer ring as the differential G between you head and feet would be too large, so this is likely moon or mars G (1/6 or 1/3).
Still, a graphic mock up that looks nice does not mean this will ever actually be made.
