It's a troll that specifically targets queer instances. They're even manually verifying the email addresses.

The reason it's getting out of hand is because getting other instances annoyed enough to defederate the queer instance is their goal

Oh hi Ada! Any chance you can restrict registrations for a while so that everyone can get refederated and you can get things sorted?
