I feel what we see as complacency is the style of play that Arteta is trying to implement. Remember the days of tiki taka? I think Arteta is trying to replicate that style of control into our style and into the squad.
While it may come across as boring, slow, or complacent I feel like the team is playing (or trying to) the way Arteta is asking of them. Zinny like errors will obviously happen with this style of play, but the defensive stats don't lie.
I'm fine if we don't win a beauty pageant with our style of play but if it makes us Premier League title challengers and allows us to make deep runs into the CL then sign me up.
