I don't care for discourse over whether nations deeply isolated and oppressed by imperialism like the DPRK and Cuba are truly socialist or not. Judgement should be suspended until the boot is off their neck. Even if they weren't that oppressed by imperialism, it's still icky. Working class people living in the imperial core ought to focus more on overthrowing their own bourgeois governments. What use is an American's criticism of China, for example? You're just joining a chorus of bloodthirsty bourgeois voices, even if your criticism is of a different variety and intention, and coming from the opposite direction politically.
Yeah completly agreed. And so much of discourse on left twitter is people living in imperial core countries yelling at each other about whether or not these countries are socialist or not.
