[PSA] Battle.net broke in Wine / Proton - here's how to fix for Steam Deck / Linux

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
I'm so happy I finally ditched Battle.net, since Overwatch is now on Steam. Battle.net through proton and wine often crashed or had other issues.
I tried D4 on its free week, and it's definitely preferable to play Blizzard games through Steam and not have to fool with the Battle.net launcher. Also getting to take advantage of Steam shader caches is great for performance of course.
