Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

I appreciate this video but this fails to address the larger rhetorical issue that the equivocation of support for the government justifies the collective punishment. Arguments like this aren't won on a nuanced discussion about the finer points of Nazi policy and whether or not Hamas conforms to them or whatever but rather the simple concept that begs the question: do citizens give up their human rights if they supported a regime that engages in acts of war against another state? Obviously the answer is, "no". It does not matter if the Hamas were exactly like the Nazis (which they aren't). We don't have to live in hypotheticals; it's largely agreed upon that the bombing of Dresden was ultimately a crime against humanity and those citizens were literally a population of people who were literal Nazis. Furthermore, if we ignore all that and accept as a justification this concept of collective punishment then we must admit to ourselves that October 7th was fully justified, that no civilian in Israel is "innocent", and that Hamas has every right to continue rocket barrages upon them from 1947 into the foreseeable future. I'd like to see someone with a backbone push them on this.
