Whereas it should be described as revealing the loss of revenue at the corporation. The BBC said that cuts in the license fee would have effects on programming, so this should not be a shocker.
Pooling its investigative journalism, rather than having dedicated investigative teams per programme sadly makes sense. As someone who watches Newsnight, it also makes sense for it to concentrate on analytical discussion.
I’m sad to see the changes, but they make sense in the circumstances
