Apple TV 3rd Gen without Bluetooth (alien.top)

Hi !

My ATV 3rg gen (no USB) is connected to my routeur via ethernet and everything seems to work on the ATV side. My laptop (a mac) is connected to the same router via WiFi (same subnet) but I cant cast video to the ATV if the Bluetooth is turned off on my mac. I cant see it in the menu but its ending with an error stating that it cant connect Wasnt airplay to work over the. same network ?

Your wired and wireless networks may be separated on different subnets so devices cannot see each other if they're connected differently. On separate networks airplay uses bluetooth via P2P discovery instead of bonjour to initiate adhoc wireless network connection between devices to allow for content transfer
