Most stuff on this thread so far is OS related.

I think the iPhone has hit a crucial point where they either will need to reinvent the wheel, or eventually die out/be replaced by someone who does.

Some next level tech I’d like to see in iPhones: Better AI capability, the phone should learn how I use it and adapt to better the experience

Dramatically increase battery life and technology, multiple days without needing to charge

Dramatically decreases in charging time, minutes to fully charge

Increased safety functionality

Smaller, thinner, faster. No more need to big gaming rigs. Your phone is as good as a gaming pc and can wirelessly project to any screen.

Truly indestructible durability.

Lastly, Apple needs to come up with things we can’t even think about. That’s what we pay them for after all.
