Iphone 13 mini screen problems since update (youtu.be)

Hi, hoping someone can give advice. My wife's iPhone 13 mini has started doing this since an update earlier this week.

We've done a the reset by pressing volume up, down and then holding the power button until the apple logo came up. The next option is going to be restoring it to factory default. I'm an android user so not sure if there's something I'm missing

Update on this, the phone screen has now completely died, there is a little green light at the bottom and a few red pixels here and there, but the screen wont show anything, it still reacts to touches by the looks of things, but cant see anything.

Is there any way to fix this ourselves, or will it have to go to the repair shop?
