3" an hour, dang. 3-4" per hour was something that occurred multiple times every year when I was a kid. I remember one snowstorm where we got like 7-8 inches an hour for the entire night.
Last year we didn't get any snow.
Same, I remember school getting cancelled because we'd get like a foot or more of snow and you literally could not walk outside. Now we are lucky to get a very light dusting that melts in a few hours.
