The fact that we still have Field truthers in here after tonight is the most mind boggling thing of all time. Do you watch the games?

All we've been asking for is him to show he has the ability to win a game with the ball in his hands in the final 2 minutes. He played okay despite the play-calling and had 2 bad fumbles.

But he got them in position to win the game so none of that other stuff really matters.

I’ve been asking for a lot more than that. Not taking the win away from him but I franchise qb simply has to be better than what we saw tonight.

This. They won in spite of Fields, not because of him. He was about as good as a backup QB, servicable.

I feel like folks are grading Fields on a curve because they really want him to do well, but damn. IF 200 yards, zero TDs, 3 sacks and 2 fumbles is your idea of quality QB play, then we need to adjust expectations. If this was KC, or Buffalo, Philly or San Fran...no way is this seen as acceptable play.
