All week the Fields haters wanted Fields to prove he can put together a game winning drive. And by golly he gets one. And now the narrative changes.

The fumbles were terrible but the playcalling was atrocious. Hard to judge Fields’s game when the game plan is to throw screens all day.

Fields came through in the clutch and that’s all that matters

It's hard to judge Fields for the 95% of shit he put together, but all that matters is that he totally obliterated the doubts on the single play that he barely managed to do something good

Good quarterbacks win bad games dude. That’s an important trait.

Where are all the good games that he’s won?

I mean, he put together a game winning drive on his second try after fumbling away the first attempt.

It's entirely possible that we never touch to ball again after that fumble.

And yes, it would be hard to judge Fields based on this game alone. Luckily we now have several years worth of mediocre games to judge him on.

Nah first fumble was on Wright and the second should’ve been a penalty

They rather see Caleb Williams throw screen passes and fumble the ball.

Correct. I need to at least feel like having a good qb is possible.
