after ~2 weeks of sleeping through the night this sudden return to several wake ups a night is BRUTAL. I know he is just teething and it wont last forever, but man I am tired.

Comfort him a lot. Being comforted reduces anxiety and pain. It will also help him sleep.

And pain meds too of course.

I cannot stress enough, babies and little children can't get too many cuddles

my kid deffo can. He's like "daaaad stop, I want to wiggle around on the floor I dont want a cuddle". At least I assume thats what he is thinking.

Bonjela and lots of it. Panadol and Nurofen help with the pain as well.

Oh yeah, we give him Panadol as required, trouble is he isnt always super obvious with it.
