It's the dunk tank.

This is where you come to post big-brained hot takes by chuds, libs, or even fellow leftists, and tear them to itty-bitty pieces with precision dunkstrikes.

Rule 1: All posts must include links to the subject matter, and no identifying information should be redacted.

Rule 2: If your source is a reactionary website, please use archive.is instead of linking directly.

Rule 3: No sectarianism.

Rule 4: TERF/SWERFs Not Welcome

Rule 5: No ableism of any kind (that includes stuff like libt*rd)

Rule 6: Do not post fellow hexbears.

Rule 7: Do not individually target other instances' admins or moderators.

Rule 8: The subject of a post cannot be low hanging fruit, that is comments/posts made by a private person that have low amount of upvotes/likes/views. Comments/Posts made on other instances that are accessible from hexbear are an exception to this. Posts that do not meet this requirement can be posted to !shitreactionariessay@lemmygrad.ml

Rule 9: if you post ironic rage bait im going to make a personal visit to your house to make sure you never make this mistake again

MODERATORS

STEP 1: Organize

Before anything, we need to organize. We need people who know what they are doing. For example, we need someone who knows how to make a septic system. We also need people that know how to get water, get boats (to go on and off the island), etc. We can get these people on their respective subreddits (for example, r/Renovations). Once we have everyone we need, they need to make a document detailing how to get infrastructure on the island. This document will be constantly viewed by the public, to find any errors. This document will also have a price tag for the project. After that, we need someone completely devoted to this project. Someone that is willing to quit their job to buy this island and oversee operations there (they will get living expenses paid). When the document is finally finished, we can get ready for Step 2.

STEP 2: Hype

With a strong backbone, we can start to get hype. Everyone needs to post on subreddits such as r/memes. The more people, the better. Every new member has one goal: help the subreddit grow. That is all that we need to help the subreddit grow. We also have to keep the subreddit active. It's important to attract the younger audience, for reasons I will mention later. Anyways, it's time for Step 3.

STEP 3: Fundraising

With a lot of active people on the subreddit, it's finally time to fundraise. We need to convince younger people to do odd jobs to donate some money to the cause. To encourage donating, we can promise that they could homestead (with an annual fee, so we make money) if they donate. It could be marketed as a get-away for Redditors. While we are fundraising, we need to attract the right people. For example, people could post on subreddits like r/finance, again promising an island get-away. When we have the money, the person mentioned earlier should buy the land and follow the document that was previously made. Once this step is done, we can finally move on to Step 4.

Step 4: Attracting Investors

Once Step 3 is done, we need even more money. You may be thinking, "WHOA DIDN'T WE JUST FUNDRAISE A TON OF MONEY?!?!?!?!". Yes, but that is for buying the island and making infrastructure. We now need to make a way of making money to fund people moving to the island. For this, we can do just about anything. We can make a resort, a festival, or quite possibly anything. The only goal is to attract an Angel Investor to do it. Once we attract investors, and do whatever we do, it's FINALLY TIME for Step 5.

Step 5: Live on the island

With there now being funds from the business that was founded, we can now fund people moving here. All that is needed is simple incentives, such as 8k to move to the island, 20k to start a business, etc. Then we can all move to reddit island and live our life there!

Consider the following: practically everyone in Jonestown died, so it would lead to a Bazinga-free 2023.
