Bro trying to avoid Patriots like the plague.

[–] Do_it_for_the_upvote@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Wasted effort. He's a talented WR- Bill would never draft him.

[–] scttcs@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Please no, lol

[–] HoorayPizzaDay@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Turn this tank around

[–] Pork_Chompk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (5 children)

I was thinking it's got to be such a conflicting feeling. Knowing you're going to be a top 3 or whatever draft pick, then looking at the dumpster fire teams licking their chops to bring you into their mess.

Fucking Bears up there twice lol.

[–] Nervous-Awareness482@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If he doesn’t come out, which I can’t imagine, the Bears sub would meltdown. Half of the fans are “MHJ or Bust!” Mentality right now. They’re so high on MHJ they’ve compeletely resold themselves on Justin being a Franchise Level QB

[–] antler112@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Honestly, the current top nine picks look like horrific destinations for a star wide receiver to be drafted to.

[–] JustinTinyPPHerbert@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Arizona lol? Being kyler’s #1 target would be pretty nice

[–] rageenk@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

tennessee doesn’t look horrid. like way better places he could go obv but not terrible

[–] Mercarcher@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He's probably not going to want Tennessee after growing up in Indianapolis with his dad being one of the faces of the colts. I know NFL players don't get too much of a say, but I doubt he ends up in the AFC South.

[–] ToxicVigil@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Eh. Promising young QB and we have DHop. Definitely worse situations you could land in

[–] TheRealKaschMoney@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

It's a wide receiver? They generally do fine production wise even in bad situations

[–] gbdman@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Typical Bears fan forgot players enjoy winning

[–] Neat_On_The_Rocks@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Now you listen here!!!

This hurts. Because it’s true. Most fans think MHJ will change the offense and make Fields an all pro.

[–] TheMexicanIverson@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Are you saying he’s doing bad on the bears? Dude already has more yards than he did last year and is on pace to easily eclipse his best season in every stat

[–] Cuppieecakes@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

moore and allen robinson did fine before he finally died inside

welcome to chicago MHJ

[–] pocketchange2247@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

"The place where WRs go to die."

It hurts every time I hear it, but Mushin Mohammad wasn't wrong...

[–] Drippin7@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Imagine saying this as a Titans fan lmao

[–] Moist_Mors@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The cardinals? Dude Kyler can throw. Him getting mhj would be amazing.

[–] CaliforniaHurricane_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (3 children)

We don’t need him, we gotta bigger fish to fry like the QB position

[–] DaLyricalMiracleWhip@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Hard for a QB to succeed with a receiver corps that makes Iowa look like an air raid squad

[–] KIumpy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

If we're at 3 and Maye/Williams are gone then we should 100% take MHJ.

[–] N7_Evers@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

You’re going to sit there and tell me we don’t “need” major help at the WR position? wtf lol

[–] CaliforniaHurricane_@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

The Patriots need major help at the QB position as well, idk about yall but I feel like it’s pointless drafting a top WR when you don’t have a QB that can get him the ball

[–] DrKoooolAid@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

I fucking hope so. That's my worst fear as I'm taking him at 1.01 in my dynasty league.

[–] grw313@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago (4 children)

Why would Bill belichick draft a receiver in the top 5 when he can trade down three times only to draft the safety at Rutgers and the defensive tackle from random d3 school? It's all about maximizing value.

[–] arebee20@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Don't blame Bill, that d3 DT has really good hustle ok?

[–] harry_heymann@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Max Melton no matter what.

[–] FunkyAssMurphy@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

Especially because the last time he drafted a first round receiver he was deceived by that draft class.

N’keal Henry was clearly the best receiver in that class and he was awful so he’ll never draft a WR above the 5th round again

[–] MassKhalifa@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

A safety that predominantly played lacrosse growing up.

[–] kjorav17@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

He’s not about the Patriot Way
