Help with side buttons for media volume (iPhone 15) (alien.top)

Coming from iPhone 12, the side buttons on 15 are driving me mad. I used the buttons on 12 to regulate media volume before watching media to prevent i.e. yt movies or spotify from starting to play at a super high volume. On 15 however, I can only adjust media volume with Side buttons after the media has already started. Before playing media the Side buttons only function as ringtone/signal volume sliders. Is there any way to change this back?

Go to Settings -> Sounds and Haptics, there us a switch to enable changing the ringer volume with the side buttons, turn it off, that might help you
