the 14inch M2 Pro literally came out months ago and is a 2023 machine. Why did Apple just release another 14inch M3/Pro/Max months apart? I'm confused.. (alien.top)

M1 Pro is probably the best value buy right now. You can get one for $1300 and it’s more than fast enough for just about anything.

I run:

  • docker
  • postgis
  • webstorm
  • pycharm
  • Firefox
  • sometimes vscode on top

There is some swapping, but it doesn’t really bother me and I don’t notice any slowdown.
