One of the funniest things I've ever encountered in my life is an actual underground miner, a gold miner in Timmins who works about 3 kilometers underground ... a man with years of training and experience .. who adamantly believes in the flat earth theory ... I joked with him that his career is a workplace hazard as he has the possibility of drilling right through the bottom of earth's plane ... he didn't laugh and didn't have an explanation for it either.
Well in his mind he's not worried about hitting China then...
