How to download photos to PC / so many folders (alien.top)

When I plug my phone in there is literally hundreds of folders. No idea why or that someone thought that was a good idea, I would like to transfer to SSD and delete all my photos from there

Did you ever figure this out? My phone was super easy and really straight forward. My wife’s phone is like yours. She has over 10k photos saved on her phone, spread out over 17 iPhone albums. But when I plug in her phone, there are 56 file folders and some of them won’t copy over to our hard drive. It gives an error message that the phone has been disconnected or something. It’s like it doesn’t like some file type. But I’m not sure why there are so many folders. She had nothing in her recently deleted and no hidden folders…
