Apple 20w charger delays (alien.top)

Hello all,

I just bought a genuin Apple 20w USB-C charger off Amazon and noticed that it delays 1-2 secs before charging starts. The old 5w USB-A charger did not do this. I already cleaned the charging jack but it always delays. Is this expected behavior? Does anyone know why this happens? Is my charger fake?

It’s not with the charger, I have a Belkin charger and it does the same thing. It may have to do with the current intake the chips need to be able to display the notification for charging on the device.
