They changed the Timer and it's annoying.

They got rid of the time when the timer will ring.

Like if I set it to 2 hours and 15 mins, it'll show something like this timer will ring at 9:00 AM. It doesn't do that now.

Now if I put 2 hrs, it says it'll ring 2 hrs from now in the preview... No really?

I think they fixed alerts issue with the Timer. It used to default to Radial if you used Siri to start a timer even when the in-app setting was set to something else. Now when I start a timer from Siri it uses the alert sound that have chosen. And when selecting an alert it now shows “(Default)” next to my selection whereas previously that default indicator would remain on Radial.

Not sure if this is what you’re referring to, but you can click on the timer in the app and it’ll go back to the old screen and display a time for when it’ll go off. I agree that it’s super annoying because I use a timer for my lunch at work and I keep forgetting when I need to be back
