I always wonder how someone could think that murdering their spouse is easier than divorce or therapy.

So many lives ruined for absolutely zero gain.

As Paul Simon said, there must be 50 ways to leave your lover. Pretty sure none of them are murder

If you can get away with it, it's the option with the strongest financial incentive.

But this guy minimum-efforted it - there was zero chance he'd escape suspicion. Hell, he apparently told someone else he was doing it. No idea what he was thinking.
