Highlights in Dolby Vision Movies Looks Substantially different on Apple TV vs Android TV (alien.top)

Highlights in movies looks much more blown out in android TVs, I tested the same movie and compared similar frames and the image is much worse in android TVs, has anyone has this issue ?

Equipment Used

TCL C715 65"

Hisense U6G 55"

TCL 43" UHD TV

Apple TV 2021

Samsung s23 to capture photos https://imgur.com/a/DbnSl6q (i locked the exposure and other settings in pro mode to keep the light intake constant), also i matched the display settings of apple TV to inbuilt android TV

I was only able to test with MEL DV layers and not FEL layers as inbuild Android TV is not able to playback FEL, so i was only able to test Streaming Grade Movies, Hybrid Remuxes and Videos shot in iPhone 13, and in all i found out that highlights were blown out in all android TVs

The android tv is clipping the highlights instead of rolling them off properly. It’s likely not doing something called “tone mapping” properly, which subtly compresses the highlights of HDR images to match the output of your specific TV.
