He did everything he was supposed to do and had us with a 12 point lead with 4 mins left, and the defense went and gave up two tds. Also one of our wrs dropped a game clinching pass after he had fumbled earlier in the game. And he did it all without the thumb in his throwing hand being one 100%. There is nothing a Caleb Williams or Drake Maye could do to elevate this team with all the holes and terrible coaching. Poles will most likely take a QB just to cover his ass and give himself a few more years but it will set us back a few more years and maybe longer if they bust l.
Fields played great yesterday but I still need to see that every game. It's not asinine to go after a franchise QB with your first pick if you have any question marks on your current one.
