These safeties don't make me feel safe. Just me?

Jackson is very smart and commands them guys back there like a coach on the field. Also has good ball hawking skills. He needs to stay healthy and I think because of his health alone the bears will not bring him back, but they might. The Bears need to generate pressure in the trenches for these two to really shine. Brisker is a good hard hitting safety but also needs to stay healthy. I don’t think Jackson time is up just yet and would like to see him for another year.

This is only year two of a true rebuild. Poles gut this team and is building a nice foundation. Year 3 and 4 is when rebuilds start to contend and bare fruit.

So I’d like to keep them and address other needs on the Defense. These guys are last line of Defense and I think they have been asked too much to make the stop. With the Lions game, we saw our secondary start to make more plays on the ball. I believe this is because the signing of Sweat.

Keep both.

This is an interesting take, on the other hand EJax blew coverage yesterday and cost the bears the game by allowing a TD within a minute instead of keeping the WR in front of him. So he's clearly lost a few steps and will lose more by next season.
