If this isn't the right place to ask this, I apologize. I also hope that I write this in a way that makes sense.

on my MacBook hard drive I have a folder of photos from an old computer. I want to move certain pictures from my photo app library to this folder on the hard drive. what would be the best way to do this? im fine with keeping a copy in the photo app, but I'd like to back up some of these pictures on the hard drive. thanks in advance.

Would just open the photo libary file in finder, select the images, copy them and paste them in the dedicated folder. Or just drag and drop in two file windows open
