I think many of you don't understand what a franchise QB does. A franchise QB makes plays when the game is on the line. Despite playing an impressive 56 minutes of football, Fields, once again, wasn't able to do that. Goff, who is a franchise QB did, despite playing much worse than Fields the rest of the game.

In the end, yes the defense is most to blame for collapsing at the end, even though they played really well the rest of the game. But, if you're trying to convince me Fields is the guy--a franchise QB, who's going to turn this team around--why doesn't he make plays when it counts? What good is all that athleticism if he can't win games. He's like 6-25.
