I've been trying to tell Bears fans this for years. Even if you can squeeze some half-decent performances like today out of Fields with designed runs and moving pockets, it's not something that works late in games when you *have* to score. It's not an accident a coincidence that Fields has spent three years failing in these situations.

It's not hard to find another coaching staff. It's very hard to find another QB.

You can cry about the coaches. You can cry about the defense. But the ball was in Justin Fields' hands with a chance to win and he failed. The ball was in Jared Goff's hands with a chance to win and he succeeded. That's not an accident or coincidence.
