I was only able to find this talked about once and the solution isn’t viable for me. I have a computer, but it’ll be in storage for the foreseeable future. What are my options for temporary storage? I plan on upgrading phones next month and want a place to dump a bunch of pics and vids. Thanks in advance, I’m finding as time goes on I’m getting less and less tech savvy.

When upgrading phones everything will move over, even photos. So you could just wait.

The easiest would be using a flash drive that plugs into the phone.

Or you can use a cloud storage service to offload some things.

Like the SanDisk ones that are lightning on one side and USB-A on the other? I was leaning towards that idea after hearing that media sometimes gets corrupted in external hard drives and end up not being able to be recovered.

Yeah, I definitely want to unload my phone. I have a child now and that’s where all the media is coming from. I feel like I’m already gonna run out of storage in my next phone so I’m trying to start with the blankest slate that I can.

Thanks for your input though. I just put one of those memory sticks in my cart.
