Does apple tv support hdr on movies on iphone instead of tv (alien.top)

Im trying to watch movies that i know where recorded with hdr but i dont see this listed on apple tv on my phone im wondering if its applied automatically or if it doesnt support it

If you have a HDR compatible iPhone, it will play HDR movies in HDR
