Hey y’all, I’m switching over to an IPhone 6 for a couple of weeks. I can make do with all the other outdated apps but I can’t get GooglePay to work. Are there any workarounds? Would jailbreaking work? (I’ve never jailbreaked any device) or should I just throw the phone away and get an android?

Google Pay for payments to other people/businesses or Google Pay for NFC?

If you mean NFC itself, Google Pay has never developed any type of tap-to-pay functionality on iOS. If you mean for payments or just for normal usage of the app itself, it could be that your app version is too old (iOS 12).

Whatever you do, certainly do NOT jailbreak your iPhone, as Google Pay is considered a financial app and will definitely have anti-jailbreak features.
