In all seriousness the winemakers complaints feel a bit thin.

Although, assuming they go two labels, that basically doubles your labelling costs; and a single label might be cheaper to print, but more unwieldy to attach, especially by hand.

The only other thing I'd say in favour of the wine maker is, they are price takers, especially the small ones. They shouldn't be setting a price based on their costs, their price should be set by what they expect the customers will pay. Only then taking their costs into account. So their margins might be less manoeuvrable than we might imagine at a first glance.
