I will keep this simple. I have a 15 pro max that struggles to stick a traditional car mount with the built in MagSafe phone magnet. So I decided to add a steel plate magnet in between my case and my phone. I will provide a photo of the potential setup. My question is, will this affect the camera stabilization/compass or any other function of my device? I have read reddit posts with very conflicting opinions and would like to know what you guys think. I found this image on google but it summarizes my post and what I intend on doing. Thanks for the help !
Just buy a case that has an extra strong magnet and you’ll be fine. My Caudabe Sheath sticks to MagSafe objects like my car mount, a pop socket, and a metal-encased 10,000mAh MagSafe battery so far.
