Every time I've seen a next gen stats analysis of separation by receivers in the last two years the Bears have been at the bottom, usually by a substantial margin. Sure, it's possible to cherry pick a few plays from every game where Fields hasn't gone to someone that was open and some of that is on him, but there are not guys running around open on every play or even most plays - in fact, statistically they're open less than the receivers on most other teams are. Adding DJ Moore and Kmet's development have helped matters but it's still a well below average group of weapons.
