It's a sci-fi comedy. And it's very funny. I'm not sure where the mess is.

Horses for courses but I gave it a real good go, and other than “robot head be horny” I failed to see anything funny about it.
Maybe because it's a German show? It's not true that Germans don't have a sense of humor, it's just that it's a little different. If you can get into it, it's a lot of fun.
It is a Canadian show with a few German actors. It's from Newfoundland if I am not mistaken.
