I'm assuming it's similar in Canada.
Just need to sign up for the half or full day course, depending on which you need. I forget what the big difference is between the two apart from one being a half day and the other being a full ๐.
That is wild to me, cuz Hong Kong's is way longer. My one was a 30 hour course, and there was an exam too. That's the standard in HK iirc.
30? Thats is crazy! That's like a week almost!!! As a tradesman I get these every 3-5 years and it's so laid back, where we go through the test as a group, one question at a time, just to make everyone is passing. Cause SAFETY!!
10 Sessions, 3 hours each, yeah. Certification lasts for 3 years. Teaches you how to do like all the triangular bandaging stuff and like everything from heat stroke to broken bones to CPR/AED, so it was definitely worth the time. I'm amazed that that's not standard, to be quite honest.
though we did it with them being morning / afternoon sessions so it was 5 days only. I was also still well in school so I had the time for it but in general they do those courses on like Saturdays or something for adults. Now i'm kinda wishing I did it in Hong Kong again lol :P
