I hate the huge camera module of my 14 pro since day one. Its so ugly and disturbing.
And the size is also a thing… i remember the iphone 8 back in the day. i got it in white without a case and i never dropped it because it was the right size for me. It was my best iphone experience in past years. But with the 14 pro… to use a 1400€ phone without a case (and without apple care) is kinda insane in view of the resale value… And the glossy rails look also very smudged in seconds…
Sure, the 15 pro is a lot nicer, but i want a iphone i could use without a case and insurance without fear of „throwing away“ 1400€ …..
Has anyone swapped a 14 Pro to a 12/13 Mini? Whats your verdict? Have you regretted it?
I switched from 14 Pro to 13 mini and I’m ok with it. I absolutely love the size and weight. But I really miss the battery life and camera quality of the 14 Pro. I didn’t realize I used telephoto that much before I switched and I definitely miss them(both 2x and 3x).
Good point. My 14 Pro lasts hardly a day at my usage… i assume the mini dies earlier than that… And yes, i use the 2x a lot!! Its my main lens for objects because of the great bokeh… (i sell a lot of stuff over the internet)
With normal usage (normal days when I’m not shooting lots of ProRAW photos) I only charged my 14 Pro when I go to bed, but with 13 mini I typically charge it at least 2~3 times a day. I highly recommend portable battery, unless you’re near a charger if you decide to go with 13 mini.
Damn… i already use a portable battery with my 14 Pro. 😅 but not every day. Most of the time i charge it once over night
