I really love wearing my Apple Watch but also think the style of an automatic watch looks better. Would it be silly to wear in both hands ??

He probably wears the Apple Watch for health/heart monitoring and notifications more than time. Gold is for posturing. IMHO

Yep he wears the Apple Watch for aFib and wears the Rolex because he’s always worn them
