Is it worth replacing MacBook Pro 13 2020 i5 (16/512) with the MacBook Air 13 M1 (8/256)? (alien.top)

I have been using a MacBook Pro 13 2020 i5 for more than 3 years. During this time, the laptop's battery became worse (approximately 1257 cycles) and he is slow in some programs (like Chrome and Excel).

Is it worth upgrading to MacBook Air 13 M1? Judging by Geekbench, the speed increase is x2.

About the price: In my country the MacBook Air 13 M1 sells for $800.
I can sell my current laptop for $500

I suggest everyone replacing any intel chips if they can, so I’d say yes.
