there are apparently over 25 million people in the US that play golf.

If, for no reason, you insult them and their hobby, you've lost a ton of potential allies.

Take this example I saw here a few days back:

A guy posts a picture of his motorcycle and some miserable sonofabitch comes in screaming at him:

Thanks for adding more pollution to our climate. Asshole.

Fuck that. Any person that intentionally pollutes the air should be publicly shamed and eviscerated.
