“AirTag detected near you” but I don’t own an AirTag (alien.top)

I live on a college campus and tonight I got like 5 notifications in a row after going to a club meeting saying that an AirTag was detected near me. I clicked on the notification, and it was tracking my location from my meeting to the dorm. Is this just a glitch? I’m a young woman so I’m just a tad worried and my parents aren’t helping 😭 I wouldn’t really think much of it but the walk was like 15 mins and it kept track the whole way

In a college campus I'd expect to pass dozens of AirTags since many people keep them in their backpacks (myself included). I wouldn't worry about it too much.
