I'll bite. Yes the team is better than their record imo.

The biggest issue by far is defensive scheme. 100% the front 7 getting 0 pressure is an absolute shit show and that's on scheme/coaching.

The offense has at times been pretty good. The defense has never gotten consistent pressure or forced a lot of turnovers. (a blow out against a rookie AOC-led Raiders team doesn't count imo, they had McDaniels as their head coach)

This has always been elf's system though.

I live in Indy. When his stud LB couldn't play for half the season this was the reality in indy. No pressure. Not even a hint that they are trying to pressure.

Indy fans laughed when we hired him.

That said the biggest problem with this team is our inept , out of his league, was bad as a quarter back coach OC.
