Apologies if this has been covered, I searched and couldn’t find any discussion.

I’m almost always listening to music or a podcast on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and when I get a notification it will just briefly lower the volume.

Since I’m listening to just speech a lot of the time the brief lowering of the volume is not enough to alert me at all.

I want it to beep at me loudly because I’m constantly missing my notifications. Is there any way to fix this?

I came here because I’m having the same exact issue… I’m often listening to podcasts/talk radio streaming and when Siri cuts in with a notification or text message, it’s so low that I can’t understand even one word, and oftentimes my phone is further away, so I have to go get my phone in order to see/read the notification…like you I’ve turned up every volume. There should be a slide button just for Siri. (iPhone user since the 4s in 2013, iPhone 13 currently)
