Is the series 9 worth it for someone who doesn’t have a smart watch? (alien.top)

I am looking to get an Apple Watch and I can’t decide whether or not to get the series 8 (or lower) vs the 9. The older series are much cheaper but the series 9 with the finger tap looks super cool, and I like that it’s much brighter. I was wondering what this sub would think.

I know I’ll use it a lot regardless of which version I get. The series 9 features are just tempting to me.

Upgraded from series 4 Apple Watch to series 9 this fall. I had buyers remorse at first but I really like the s9. The display looks good and it’s snappy and the battery is obviously great compared to my 5 year old series 4. Finger tap is a feature I could care less for though haven’t used it and never intend to
