Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

I absolutely love Attack on Titan and it's one of the best anime's I have ever seen. Even the clown show ending from the manga has been fixed to an great extent in the anime. The anime has so many excellent moments which are some of the best written scenes in anime.

The fanbase is insufferable though. It's either full of "Eren is literally me" mfs or glazers with no sense of reality and I'm pissed at liking the same thing as them.

I've been quite pleased with the content provided by the fanbase after the ending
I guess it all depends on where you look. I admit to visiting Reddit in order to cope with my post-ending depression, but I never went as far as r/titanfolk, the amount of shitposting and trolling is a bit too high for my tastes there. On the other hand, r/shingekinokyojin and r/attackontitan provided valuable insights on the ending, as well as interesting theories and alternatives
tbh I still have to read the manga, so I can't say how bad the ending was there. Although I think I'll still like it, given that the anime only changed some dialogues and scenes
