I just started watching the reboot/revival and am only now realizing the significance of some of the character names:

John, the baby, likely named to honor John Mahoney
- They named the bar after Mahoney as well.
Moose, the firefighter, named after the dog that played Eddie
David Crane is obviously named after DHP

I'm only on the 4th episode, so there may be more I missed or haven't noticed yet.
